<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet handling device 101 unlikely to generate interference of a sheet S with a sheet restricting member 302 even if sheets S are stacked on a tray 301 in the stacked condition out of order and the tray 301 is raised. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet restricting member 302 is retracted outward after the stack tray 301 lowered, and a wide working space is secured around an delivery roller 215. When a door 209 is closed after completion of the work, the stack tray 301 is raised in the condition that the sheet restricting member 302 is retracted outward, and after completion of raising, the sheet restricting member 302 is moved inward to the width of the stacked sheet(s) so as to arrange the stacked condition disturbed during the work into finer appearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
