PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2-D ion trap capable of superposing an octpole electric field. SOLUTION: The 2-D ion trap is equipped with an acquisition chamber including a plurality of electrodes (31, 32, 33, 34, 41, 42, 43, 44, 62, 69, 67, 68, 220) demarcating an acquisition space (10), an RF quadrupole electric field in the acquisition space (10) to acquire ions of a mass-to-charge ratio in a desired range, an octpole electric field in the acquisition space (10) including the RF quadrupole electric field having a flat x-y geometric shape with a first direction and a second direction, a first auxiliary wave generator (63) to forcibly move the ions in the acquisition space (10) onto the first direction, and a second auxiliary wave generator (64) to forcibly move the ions in the acquisition space (10) onto the second direction.
