PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a client about a list of software that a server can distribute according to licenses of the client. SOLUTION: The server 10 for distributing software to a client 12 includes a dependency list storage means for storing a dependency list in which the other software needed to implement each software is associated with each software to be distributed; a means for receiving a list of licenses of the client 12 and for extracting the software that can be distributed within the range of the list of licenses received; a means for creating a list of software to be distributed which comprises the software extracted and the other software stored in the dependency list storage means in association with the software; and a means for transmitting the created list of software to be distributed to the client 12.
