PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor of low profile, i.e. an inductor in which dimension can be reduced in the height direction. SOLUTION: In the inductor 10 mounted on a substrate 52 while having a winding 30 and a drum core 20 around which the winding 30 is wound, a conductive terminal member 40 is arranged on the outer circumference of the drum core 20 and the end 30a of the winding 30 is connected to a position of the terminal member 40 higher than the lower end face 23a of the drum core 20.
