PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of accurately detecting fitting of connector housings. SOLUTION: The connector 1 is provided with a first connector 2 and a second connector 3. The first connector 2 is provided with a first connector housing 4 provided with a lock projection and a pair of electrode 11 on its external surface. The second connector 3 is provided with a second connector housing 13 provided with a main body part 34, a lock arm 15 and a short circuit member 16. The lock arm 15 is fitted to the lock projection 10 while being supported by the main body part 34. In the short circuit member 16, one end part 16a is attached to the main body part 34 and the other end part 26a is formed in a cantilevered structure of a free end. The short circuit member 16 is provided with a contact 31 at the other end part 26a. When the connector housings 4, 13 are fitted together, the contact 31 and the lock projection 10 are lined up in a direction perpendicular to the fitting direction K. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
