PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content management device, a content data management method, and a data management program, which sharply reduce any processing load for preparing the list of attribute information. SOLUTION: In a content reproduction device, when music content and a play list are added, or any new genre which does not exist in a genre table GT is added because the genre is compiled, the new genre is added to the genre table, and no processing for the deletion of the music content and the play list, or for the deletion of any absent genre in the case of the change and registration of the genre, is operated at all, and the absent genre is deleted according to a click operation to an arrangement button by a user, and the genre list GT is updated.
