PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in hydrogenation purification of a plastic cracked oil and to use the plastic cracked oil as a naphtha fraction, a kerosine and gas oil fraction and a heavy oil base which will become a gasoline base-material, a petrochemical raw material, kerosene, gas oil and heavy oil. SOLUTION: The method for treating a plastic cracked oil comprises mixing the plastic cracked oil generated by thermal cracking of waste plastic and petroleum fraction and treating the resultant mixture by a petroleum refining process, in which the mixed petroleum stock has a calcium content of≤2 mass ppm in terms of the metal. In addition, the mixed petroleum stock preferably has titanium and silicon contents of≤2 mass ppm, respectively, in terms of the metal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
