The apparatus for testing a fuselage structure ( 10 ) having longitudinal and circumferential curvature comprises an assembly of means ( 30, 40 ) for applying forces to the fuselage structure ( 10 ). It comprises support means ( 50 ) capable of supporting the fuselage structure ( 10 ) and the assembly of force-application means ( 30, 40 ). The assembly of force-application means ( 30, 40 ) is mounted between the support means ( 50 ) and the force-introduction means ( 70 ) interlocked with the fuselage structure ( 10 ), and is capable of applying collinear forces to the fuselage structure ( 10 ). Use in particular to perform tests on an airplane fuselage.
