Adjusting and supply devices adjust one or more operating points from a space for input quantities and marginal values for a test system, especially a test bench for machines. A partial system for the test system is formed by a virtual model and a test operation is also followed up by using this model parallel to a real test operation. An independent claim is also included for a test system, especially a test bench for machines.
