<p>The invention relates to 2-alpha,3-beta dihydroxy-28-carboxyolean-12-ene acid (maslinic acid) and the salts and derivatives of same, which are used as serine protease inhibitors in order to obtain preparations that are intended for the treatment and prevention of parasitosis caused in humans and animals by species of the phylum Apicomplexa: Eimeria, Toxoplasma, Neospora, Cyclospora, Isospora, Besnoitia, Babesia and Plasmodium.</p> |
