<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner with which fixing is performed at a low temperature, hot offsetting resistance and blocking resistance are assured, high image quality is obtainable, and further, with which there are no problems in storage stability, in particular, no problems in image storage just after double-side printing and to provide an image forming apparatus, and a process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The toner comprises at least a binder resin, a colorant, a release agent, and an organic crystalline material in which the binder resin contains at least an amorphous resin and a crystalline resin; the freezing point TcD of the organic crystalline material is higher than the melting point TmA of the crystalline resin; and the maximum exothermic peak temperature Tx derived from the organic crystalline material in a DSC temperature fall chart after l70°C temperature rise of a composition prepared by compounding and melting the organic crystalline material and the release agent at a mass ratio 1:1 has a relation of (1) formula: TcD-8≤Tx≤TcD. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
