PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately receive an IP address by using information obtained in advance after moving to a neighboring network, wherein the information of an IP address allocation system is obtained, in advance before moving to a neighboring network, when a mobile node moves between heterogeneous networks or between homogeneous networks. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a mobile node for providing IP address allocation information, a data server and a method for providing IP address allocation information. The mobile node transmits a frame requesting IP address allocation information needed to allocate an IP address in a neighboring network, receives a frame, including the IP address allocation information corresponding to the frame and then moves to the neighboring network to set an IP address, based on the IP address allocation information.
