PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of performing radio communication with the other apparatus without having to provide an independent radio antenna by concurrently using a conductive component previously provided to the camera as the radio antenna. SOLUTION: The component (reflecting plate 106 of a flash etc.) has previously been provided to the electronic camera 10 and has conductivity. Since the component insulated from a camera casing and not shielded electromagnetically is used as the radio antenna, the electronic camera 10 can perform radio communication with the other apparatus without providing an independent radio antenna.
