PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of easily controlling an access level from an apparatus connected to a camera. SOLUTION: The digital camera 200 includes: an external IF control section 206 connected with a cradle 220; an acquisition section 210 for acquiring an identifier from the cradle 220 via the external IF control section 206; a comparison section 211 for comparing the identifier acquired by the acquisition section 210 with an identifier stored in a memory such as a setting value storage section 209; and a camera control section 207 for controlling the access level from the apparatus connected via the external IF control section 206 on the basis of the result of the comparison by the comparison audio signal 211.
