PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize space saving and low cost of a battery holder. SOLUTION: In this battery holder 1, a housing space S1 capable of housing a button battery 5 is formed by being surrounded by a plate part 11 of a first retaining member 10, a second retaining member 20, a retaining part 31 of a fixing and retaining member 30 and a pair of arm parts 32a, 32b. In a state of being pinched by the plate part 11 and the second retaining member 20 and of being pinched by the retaining part 31 and the pair of arm parts 32a, 32b, the button battery is housed and retained in the housing space S1. The first retaining member 10 and the second retaining member 20 are formed by using a conductive material, the fixing and retaining member 30 is formed by using an insulating resin, and the first retaining member 10 and the second retaining member 20 are in a mutually insulated state.
