PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a device link system and a device link method, not imposing complicated work of checking an IP address on a user. SOLUTION: When a scanner and a printer are connected, local connection is established, a device information processing part of the scanner acquires printer information from the printer, and the device information processing part of the scanner adds a page recording the printer information to a scanner setting page. An EWS of the scanner transfers the scanner setting page to a PC, and the PC displays the scanner setting page. When the PC changes the printer information in the scanner setting page, the change of the printer information is instructed to the scanner, the device information processing part of the scanner instructs the change of the printer information to the printer, and a printer information processing part of the printer changes the printer information according to the instruction.
