PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an organosilicon compound containing a methacryloxy group or an acryloxy group, having high qualities free from discoloration, with which an undesirable spontaneous polymerization is prevented even under a severe condition such as high temperature and strong acidity on an industrial scale. SOLUTION: The method for producing an organosilicon compound containing a methacryloxy group or an acryloxy group comprises carrying out production or distillation purification in the presence of a phenothiazine derivative having≥240 molecular weight. The stable composition comprises an organosilicon compound containing a methacryloxy group or an acryloxy group and a phenothiazine derivative having≥240 molecular weight in an amount sufficient to stabilize the organosilicon compound.
