PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable displaying an image corresponding to a read image more appropriately and providing a suitable operation environment to a related object when it is present in an image that becomes the source of the read image, and to provide a method for controlling the image processor, and a program. SOLUTION: The read image is displayed at a display section, and the displayed read image is compared with image data stored in a recording medium in advance.
