PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential operational amplifier capable of suppressing deterioration in a distortion rate and reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: The differential operational amplifier for outputting first and second output voltages according to first and second input voltages comprises a differential circuit operating according to the first and second input voltages; a control voltage generation circuit for generating a control voltage for setting the intermediate voltage between the first and second output voltages to be a prescribed reference voltage; a variable current generation circuit that is connected to the differential circuit in series and generates a variable current according to the control voltage; and a constant current generation circuit that is connected to the variable current generation circuit in parallel and generates a constant current, thus performing control so that the intermediate voltage becomes a reference voltage by the variable current and the constant current.
