PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail management system and its method for untying management of the electronic mails of both a Web mail server device and a client device. SOLUTION: In an electronic mail management system where a WEB mail client device and a WEB mail server device are connected through a network, electronic mails stored in the WEB mail server device and the electronic mail client device are collectively displayed in an electronic mail list, and when a mail browser browses the content of the electronic mail selected from the electronic mail list, and browses the electronic mail in the WEB mail server device, the electronic mail is deleted from the WEB mail server device, and stored in the electronic mail client device.
