PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new fluorosulfonyl group-containing norbornene and to provide a method for producing the norbornene. SOLUTION: The compound is represented by formula (a) (X is a methylene group, a monomethylmethylene group, a dimethylmethylene group, an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; Q<SP>F</SP>is a 1-20C bifunctional fluorine-containing organic group; k is 0, 1 or 2). The method for producing the compound represented by formula (a) comprises subjecting a compound represented by formula (c) and a compound represented by formula (b) to Diels-Alder reaction.
