PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flanged container having a beltlike frame which offers a sufficient design effect, display effect, massiveness effect, etc., for a product, eliminates a concern of being broken by impact applied horizontally or diagonally horizontally, and is not broken even if dropped sideways or diagonally sideways. SOLUTION: According to the flanged container housed in the carton, a container body has a projecting portion which projects against a conical shape at the middle level of the conical shape. The flanged container is provided with a carton which is made of a sheet of a belt wrapped around the container along the vertical section of the container containing its center. In a side view of the container wrapped with the carton, the dimension of the carton is so determined that the edge of the carton almost matches the straight line that connects the outer peripheral end of the flange to the projected portion projecting at the middle level.
