PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester facilitating cleaning, inspecting and maintaining of a back part of raising devices in the harvester which parallelly installs a plurality of raising devices in front of a reaping section and parallelly installs right and left plurality of joining transporting devices provided with plant foot transporting devices and ear tip transporting devices and joins the flow of reaped grain culms at an intermediate position of the reaping width and transports joined grain culms by a feed conveyer to a threshing device. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the combine harvester having a joining transporting pathway L constituted as openable by setting at least the raising devices 13 in the center side of the reaping width in the raising devices group 13 as upward turnable, and rearward shifting a conveying chain 17c having protrusions of the plant root-nipping and conveying mechanism 17A in the joined conveying apparatus 17 and the conveying chain 17f of the ear tip-holding and conveying mechanism 17B to a nipping rail 17d countering to the conveying chain 17c having protrusions, and a guide rod 17g countering to the transporting chain 17f.
