PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilling claw especially suitable for conducting a tilling operation of a paddy field and a cultivated field and having small tillage resistance. SOLUTION: This tilling claw 1 has a vertical edge part 10 and a horizontal edge part 20 continuously extending from a mounting base part 3 which is mounted on a tilling claw shaft 60, wherein the claw is bent in an area from the vertical edge part 10 to the horizontal edge part 20 oppositely to a direction of rotation and the horizontal edge part 20 is bent toward one of sides thereof. A position R2 corresponding to the maximum turning radius Rm of the tilling claw 1 and a position L1 corresponding to the maximum cutting width H1 thereof are differently located from each other. Further, a straight-line part 25 extending from the position R2 corresponding to the maximum turning radius Rm is arranged on a top end surface 22 of the horizontal edge part 20 in an area from the position R2 of the maximum turning radius Rm to the position L1 corresponding to the maximum cutting width H1 and an approach angle of a blade edge toward a surface of cultivated soil is set to a range of 50°to 55°at the position R2 of the maximum turning radius Rm.
