The machine (10) has mowing and collecting units to cut and convey harvested crops, and transverse convey units for transverse conveying of the cut harvested crops transverse to forward direction in direction on a longitudinal midplane (16) of the machine. Auxiliary conveyors (42) are arranged at the front side of a diverting channel (40), move opposite to the channel and are formed separate from the mowing and collecting units. The channel moves from a direction that extends transverse to the forward direction, to a collection channel of a harvesting machine.
