Gas burner for a heating device

The burner has a burner controller and a gas armature with a main gas valve (2), which is controlled by a diaphragm (4). The valve has a valve shaft (3) connected with the diaphragm. A gas inlet (5), a gas outlet (6) and two control valves pressurize a space (9) behind the diaphragm depending on the required power. The valve shaft stays in connection with a position sensor (10) in the gas armature. The power of the gas burner is controlled according to signals of the position sensor.
