A write signal setup method of an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) is provided to be capable of determining a write signal parameter and a compensation value in consideration of substantial temperature of the HDD which undergoes a burn-in test process, thus more optimized write current setup is available at substantial operating temperature of the HDD. The first temperature during a burn-in test is measured, and the first parameter which is a parameter of an optimized write signal is obtained at the first temperature through the burn-in test(S11,S12). Based on the first temperature, a compensation value group to be added to the first parameter is determined according to the temperature(S13,S14). The second temperature which is operating temperature of an HDD is measured(S21). A particular compensation value corresponding to the second temperature is searched from the compensation value group, and the searched compensation value is added to the first parameter to obtain the second parameter which is a parameter of an optimized write signal at the second temperature(S22-S24). The first temperature is measured by a cell unit where the HDD is mounted in burn-in test equipment.
