A mobile communication terminal having a face position array function and a control method thereof are provided to compare a photographed user's face with perspective templates and search the matched template, and array the user's face in the center of a screen all the time by using the setting value of the searched template, thereby maximizing the camera adaptability of an image terminal. A mobile communication terminal(1) having a face position array function comprises the followings: a main control unit(3) which photographs the specific part of a user's face through a camera(2) to set the photographed part as an initial template and makes the perspective template of various forms by using the set initial template, and then compensates the center position of an actual camera through the perspective template; a display unit(4); an actuator(5) which controls the camera(2) to photograph the center of the user's face at all times by controlling the photographing position of the camera(2) according to the compensation control signal of the main control unit(3); and a memory unit.
