摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aldehyde in an industrially advantageous way, wherein, a rhodium waste catalyst can be efficiently recovered and reused as a highly active catalyst. SOLUTION: This method comprises oxidative extraction of a rhodium- containing solution separated from a hydroformylation reaction liquor into an aqueous medium, using an accelerator, removal of the remaining accelerator from a rhodium-water-insoluble tertiary organophosphorus compound complex solution obtained through contact with a water-insoluble organophosphorus compound solution in an atmosphere of carbon monoxide and reuse of the resulting rhodium-containing solution for the hydroformylation reaction process in a circulatory way.
