PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate communication quality×accommodated user number at a high speed, at the time of designing a CDMA base station in which an adaptable antenna array technique is applied for an up line. SOLUTION: A CDMA adaptive antenna array base station designing method is provided with means 200 for calculating an antenna pattern Gs(y) of an array element; means 300 for calculating an adaptive antenna array pattern Ga(x, y) based on a wavelength, a element number, an element interval, and Gs(y); and means 400 for calculating an interference reduction rate Aes(ψ<SB>m</SB>) for its own cell and an interference reduction rate Aeo(ψ<SB>m</SB>) for other cells by using Gs(y), Ga(x, y), a sector split number S, and a segment split number M; and a means for calculating the communication quality×accommodated user number by using Aes(ψ<SB>m</SB>), Aeo(ψ<SB>m</SB>), a spread gain pg, a sound rate VA, a load marginη, and a ratio between other cell interference and own cell interference.
