A rotor core (8) of a rotating electrical machine formed by stacking a plurality of blanks (9, 9a) blanked from a steel sheet (Z), the blank (9, 9a) having a yoke (10), a magnetic pole portion (11) confronting the yoke (10), and a magnet insertion hole (12) positioned between the yoke (10) and the magnetic pole portion (11), the magnetic pole portion (11) having a projection (11a) projecting circumferentially at two circumferential sides thereof.
