A mobile terminal and a method for adjusting acoustic features are provided to enable a user to adjust the acoustic features of the mobile terminal while directly listening to his/her voice in a user interface level using finite impulse response filter tuning so that the acoustic features can be adjusted in a loop-back test environment. A mobile terminal(100) for adjusting acoustic features comprises a transceiving unit(110) for transceiving a signal, a display unit(120) for displaying an image for setting the acoustic features, a voice input unit(180) for receiving voice, an input unit(160) for receiving the acoustic features inputted by a user, a control unit(150) for adjusting features of the voice outputted by setting of the user, an audio front-end unit(140) for adjusting the voice features under the control of the control unit(150), a voice output unit(170) for outputting the adjusted voice, and a memory unit(130) for storing a register value according to voice feature adjustment in a table.
