A spindle driving method in accordance with temperature and a device thereof are provided to apply optimized communication delay to a drive according to temperature and communication steps, and to change a phase current applied to a spindle motor at optimized timing, thereby reducing retry in case of the spindle motor even though drive environments change. A temperature sensor(320) measures temperature of a drive, and outputs a measured temperature value. A memory(300) stores communication delay tables in accordance with temperature of the drive. A communication delay table load unit(310) loads a communication delay table corresponding to the temperature value outputted from the sensor(320), from the memory(300). A phase current controller(330) controls an inverter circuit(340) according to the loaded communication delay table, and changes a phase current applied to a spindle motor(350) at timing of the communication delay table.
