A drive device of a camera for a mobile communication terminal is provided to rotate and protrude the camera only when the sliding unit of the mobile communication terminal is opened and enable the camera to be used, thereby extending the life of the camera by minimizing damage caused by an external impact on the camera and improving the reliability of the camera by intercepting the infiltration of a pollutant. A protruded unit(10) is formed in the inner circumference of a guider(120). One shaft or a pair of screw shafts(20) forms a helically welded tube(21) which slides along the protruded unit(10) in the outer circumference of the guider(120) while being combined with the moving path of the guider(120) with a hinge method. A rack gear(30) is combined with a pinion gear(35) which is installed in the side of the camera(135) while being equipped in the front end of the screw shaft(20).
