<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly produce a musical sound from the beginning by suppressing the generation of noise due to unstableness of initial operation, set a plurality of parameters to one axis of a touch panel, to cover all variation ranges of parameters assigned to respective axes irrelevantly to an initial touch position by switching and controlling those parameters without performing any special operation having an effect on musical performance operation. <P>SOLUTION: (1) A musical sound is produced according to touch position information detected a certain time after the touch panel is touched for the first time, (2) musical sound parameters controlled with the touch position information detected by the first touch and musical sound parameters controlled with touch position information detected thereafter are made different, and (3) according to the touch position (origin) detected when the first touch is made, the degree of musical sound control based upon a shift in touch position which is detected later is varied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
