<p>A wireless communication system for totaling mobile terminals which use an MBMS(Multimedia Broadcasting and Multicast Service) and a method therefor are provided to simplify a totaling process by lowering complexity for access probability management, thereby increasing efficiency in accordance with data transmission(reducing signaling in accordance with random access probability) with no need to calculate a random probability. Node Bs(200-1,200-2) are connected with terminals(100-1~100-4) through wireless links, and previously receive progression setup information on progressions included in preambles transmitted from the terminals(100-1~100-4), from a network manager to set the received progressions, then receive the transmitted preambles to detect the progressions in accordance with MBMS use based on the progression setup information. A CRNC(Controlling Radio Network Controller)(300) controls the node Bs(200-1,200-2), and conducts a totaling process for information showing whether the terminals(100-1~100-4) use an MBMS, based on the detected progressions.</p> |
