A charging device for a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable an AC/DC converting circuit to convert an AC generated by a charging motor into a DC(Direct Current) so that the mobile communication terminal can be charged itself even when there is no external power. A charging device for a mobile communication terminal comprises the followings: a charging motor which includes a magnet, of which a toothed wheel is connected in its axial direction, and a coil surrounding the magnet so as to generate an AC(Alternating Current) when the magnet is rotated and which is located in a position that a cover unit sliding in the body of the slide-type mobile communication terminal contacts; a toothed guide rail which is fixed in the slide cover unit so as to convert the sliding of the slide cover unit into the rotating of the toothed wheel by being engaged with the toothed wheel; an AC/DC(Alternating Current/Direct Current) converting circuit; and a terminal charging circuit which charges the battery of the mobile communication terminal through the AC converted in the AC/DC converting circuit.
