A method of cultivating a high-calcium soybean by foliar application of natural ionized calcium solutions derived from shellfish waste is provided to solve various problems caused by calcium deficiency, minimize use of fertilizers and prevent environmental pollution. To cultivate the titled soybean, a soybean is foliar-sprayed at least one time with natural ionized calcium solutions derived from shellfish waste. The foliar spraying is performed when (1) the sprout reaches a length of about 10cm, or (2) 7 to 10 days before bloom, (3) shortly after fertilization and fruit formation and (4) about one month before and after harvest. During the growth period, the foliar spraying can be performed 2 to 3 times at the right time. The natural ionized calcium solutions are used after diluted 1,000 times with distilled water. The natural ionized calcium solutions are obtained by crushing shellfish waste to 1.5 to 10cm, calcining at 1,200deg.C and cooling. Preferably land improvement is performed by using a soil-improving agent containing natural ionized calcium powder. |
