FIELD: lighting technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: lighting unit can be used as lighting, information and advertising light panels. Light unit has light panel with several through light channels made of transparent light-transmitting elastic material, for example, of corrugated one. In light channels, which channel have shape to depend on number of forming faces, one or several fluorescent energy saving lamps are mounted, which lamps are provided with cold cathode, or lamps with fluorescent lamps with external electrodes, which lamps are made in form of thin tubular glass lamps. Lamps are hold inside light channels due to tight pressure against walls, as diameter of lamp exceeds one of sizes of it cross-lateral section. Layers of light channels with lamps can be directed longitudinal and lateral one relatively another. One layer of empty light channels can be disposed above layer with lamps.
