A method for operating a homepage and a computer-readable recording medium storing a program for the same are provided to enable the mobile network to make a profit including a text message terminal number assignment fee and a text message terminal number use charge by assigning text message terminal number result to a homepage of a client. A terminal number assigner assigns a text message terminal number to each homepage. An information provider provides the text message terminal numbers assigned to each homepage and homepage information matched with the assigned text message number to a server. The terminal number is assigned by providing terminal number list information including at least two available terminal numbers to the homepage client, receiving selection information from the homepage client, or receiving the desired terminal number information from the homepage client.
