A checker-equipped door hinge includes a checker that is provided betwe en first and second hinge arms and imparts a stepwise limiting resistance to pivoting of the two hinge arms relative to each other. The checker includes a check cam that is formed separately from the first hinge arm and is fixedly attached to the first hinge arm; a roller that can sequentially engage with decent notches of the check cam in response to the pivoting of the two hinge arms relative to each ether ; and a torsion spring that is mounted in the second hinge arm while supporting the roller with its free end portion, the torsion spring biasing the roller ire a direction in which it engages with the detent notches. Thus, a plurality of types of checker- equipped door hinges having various check properties can be provided at low cost by standardizing the hinge arm. |
