FIELD: microwave radio engineering, applicable in linear arrays. ^ SUBSTANCE: the linear array is made in the form of a number of vibratory radiators positioned with a space equal to half the wavelength on the body of the distribution system made on a rigid coaxial line featured by the fact that sections of the rigid coaxial line are connected to the points of branching of the distribution system on the vibratory radiators nearest to its middle, these section form, together with the quarter-wave transformers connecting the summation input with the mentioned vibratory radiators connected to the middle of the distribution system, a circular bridge connected to which is the differential input at a distance of a quarter of the wavelength from one of the mentioned vibratory radiators and of three quarters of the wavelength from the other, and the antiphase excitation of the halves of the linear array and, respectively, the formation of the differential directional pattern is provided by the difference of the paths from this differential input to the points of connection of the circular bridge to the distribution system making up half the wavelength. ^ EFFECT: provided formation of the summation and differential directional patterns. ^ 1 dwg |
