This invention provides a transplanter. When seedlings are planted in the puddled field, it can level only the surface layer of a field to perform a planting work. The transplanter comprises a planting portion 12 connected with the running frame 3 for planting seedlings in a field, and a land-leveling rotor 13 disposed in the front of the planting portion 12. The land-leveling rotor 13 performs works for leveling a field surface layer ranged from the surface of the field to a planting depth. The abovementioned land-leveling rotor 13 comprises several land-leveling components 37, and a joint component 38. The land-leveling components turn over the surface of the field along with the rotation. The joint component connects with the land-leveling components 37, and makes the entirety tightly joined to form a basket type. The running locus &agr; of abovementioned land-leveling component 37a crosses with the running locus &bgr; of a land-leveling component 37b. The land-leveling component is placed at the first front position in the rotation direction from the land-leveling component 37a at a place near to the surface of the field on the side view. Eventually, the land-leveling rotor 13 is driven in interlock with the running speed of the running frame 3. |
