<p>An apparatus for supporting a display (10) is provided comprising a base member (20); a lifting unit (50) which comprises a guide frame to connectably stand on the base member and a lifting member (56) coupled with the guide frame to move with the display ; a pivoting unit (40) provided between the display (10) and the lifting member (56) and to support the display (10) to pivot around a pivot axis in clockwise and counterclockwise directions; and a locking unit prevents movement of at least one of the lifting member (56) and the pivoting unit (40) depending on a position of the lifting member (56) with respect to the guide frame. Thus, there is provided an apparatus which can limit a display from moving downward toward a lowered position near a base while remaining in a pivoted position, and from pivoting while remaining in the lowered position.</p> |
