<p>In a wireless base station which, on receipt of an instruction from a host node, establishes a call through a dedicated control channel (DCCH), and establishes communication through a channel comprised of a dedicated traffic channel (DTCH) and a dedicated control channel (DCCH) multiplexed to each other, the dedicated control channel (DCCH) used for establishing a call is designed to have a transmission rate higher than a transmission rate of the dedicated control channel (DCCH) in the channel comprised of the dedicated traffic channel (DTCH) and the dedicated control channel (DCCH) multiplexed to each other. The wireless base station makes it possible to shorten a stand-by time in which a user has to wait until communication starts. <IMAGE></p> |
