The bus (2) for transport of passengers has an appropriate space (1) for them, in which is a loudspeaker (3) coupled to a control unit (4) to emit sound signals in the passenger space dependent upon signals received from a transmitter (5) coupled to the vehicle brake system (6). Where the brake system is fluid-based, the transmitter can be a pressure indicator connector to a connection from a central fluid cylinder to the individual wheels of the vehicle. The transmitter can therefore provide the control unit which equates to the braking intensity, i.e. a signal which is proportional to the pressure in the brake line. The signal sysetm provides for a variation in the second signal tone strength and level and can provide for a periodically varying tone level. The sound signal can have a strength at a specific tone level and strength but that this tone level can be caried.
