FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an enterally administrated supplement used for retention or recovery intestinal barrier in critically ill patients or chronic patients and in patients with deficient nutrition. Supplement contains the following components as a solution and measured for a daily dose, respectively: (a) glutamine and/or glutamine precursor taken in the amount from 15 g to 70 g; (b) at least two representatives from group of substances acting as antioxidants taken in the amount, and (c) saturated acids with short chain and/or saturated acid precursors in the amount 0.5-10 g.
