A device equipped with a shared memory and a method for offering access status information of the shared memory are provided to increase memory use efficiency by dividing a storage area of the shared memory into multiple areas and minimize data transfer time between processors by enabling each processor to access the common area. Multiple processors include a main processor(210) and application processors(220) controlled by a control signal received through a control bus by respectively connecting to the main processor through the control bus. The memory(310) is combined with the processors through each independent bus and outputs the access status information to the processors in case that one processor is accessed to the common area allocated as the storage area individually accessed for a time not overlapped by the processors. The application processor receiving the control signal from the main processor through the control bus makes the main processor read data stored in the command area and process the read data according to the control signal.
