An apparatus for classifying and removing scum and a sewage treatment system having the same are provided to remove scum generated in an anaerobic tank and an anoxic tank directly in the tanks, thereby improving water quality of treated water and reducing pollutants. An apparatus for classifying and removing scum includes a wedge-shaped overflow pipe(10) having an overflow part(12) for introducing scum generated in and overflowing from an anaerobic tank and an anoxic tank and a tube-shaped height control part(14) connected to a lower part of the overflow part for controlling a height according to a generation amount of the scum and level thereof to control a scum drawing amount. A classifying pipe(20) has a tube-shaped upper part fitted with the height control part and a lower part formed with a width becoming narrower, wherein the scum is introduced and classified into a scum layer(a), a treated water layer(b) and a sludge layer(c) according to specific gravities. A scum discharge pipe(22) is connected to a lower end of the scum layer of the classifying pipe to discharge the scum. A treated water discharging pipe(24) is connected to a lower end of the treated water layer for discharging the treated water. A sludge discharge pipe(26) is connected to a lower end of the classifying pipe to discharge sludge. The discharge pipes are respectively mounted with valves(23,25,27). |
