A cover structure for a drain outlet of a sink is provided to heighten the space utilization of a sink bowl and to keep kitchen utensils not to fall into a drain outlet by opening or closing the rear of the drain outlet by rotating the cover while the cover is placed in a drain outlet to make the top of the cover and the bottom of the sink bowl put at the same height, to increase washability of kitchen utensils by guiding the flow of water and food wastes smoothly and making the flow of water turbulent and to increase the cleanliness of the sink by preventing residual food from being collected around the cover. In a sink composed of a sink bowl(10) provided with a drain outlet(12), a drain trap(20) fixed to the bottom of the drain outlet by a coupler(22), and a cover(30) sit on the top of the drain outlet and rotated at the appointed angle to open or close the drain outlet, the cover for the drain outlet of the sink comprises a synthetic resin body formed in the shape of a disk which is larger than the inside diameter of the drain outlet and opened downward to open or close the drain outlet according to the rotating direction of the cover, a rubber packing(34) attached along the bottom edge of the body and adhered entirely or partially to the top edge of the drain outlet of the rotating direction of the cover, and a stainless steel flat plate(36) attached to the whole top of the body. |
